N.Y. RAILROAD GAME ================== January 1992 The N.Y. Railroad Game is written in MS Visual Basic (German), under DOS4. It therefore requires MS Windows 3.0, and the Runtime System VBRUN100.DLL. After starting the game, and having entered an ID Name, the trains run in automatic mode. All signalling is programmed, in order to avoid train crashes. Trains come in from three corners, and are timed randomly. A bell rings before the next train comes in. An option button can be pressed with the mouse, for changing into manual mode. The signalling then must be done with the mouse, by pressing on the signal (signals switch between red and green). During signal switching errors, trains can crash into each other. Crashes are counted up and compared to the time elapsed. An execessive crash frequency is reported on a message table, and the game ends with the current run. The END button must be used to leave the N.Y. Railroad Game.
